A long time ago the journey of mankind was started at the heart of greenery, in the jungle. From the very much beginning, every civilization is developed with direct & indirect association of plants. No one can ignore the importance of plants in life, but the truth is, the plants are cut off rapidly with an excuse of modernization, causing problems like Global Warming, Soil Erosion, Air Pollution etc. And not only that, by doing this, we have already lost some species and some others are on the verge of extinction.

This invention of Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose is now only in the children's general knowledge book. But this is not a desired situation. Everyday a few resolutions are taken to extend greenery, but feedback is low. This is point where comes the concept of gardening.

Green is the symbol of youth. Doctors say that it's a soothing color to eyes. That's why in today's world which is full of stress and strain; gardening can be a stress reliever. Also there is the joy of creativity. From the beginning, when you sown a seed, to the end, after it becomes a mature plant, the joy of watching, cannot be described. To fight the ever-increasing pollution level, plantation is the only weapon we have. If every person dedicate a small portion of his/her interest in gardening, be it in indoor gardening or outdoor gardening, our mother earth will be much more beautiful in near future. Also the feelings of creativity can make a person happier. There is always something to learn, and with every lesson comes a greater understanding of nature and life, that help us to cope with life much easily. There are lots of advantages of home gardening, like fresh air for breathing, beautiful flowers for soothing a sore eye and mind, fresh vegetable for your good health and many others.
