Trees
As a nursing mother, the tree has cradled the human being and human civilization since their infancy and is still playing the same role by providing man with food and shelter. As civilization progresses, man obtains from trees the lumber for his dwelling house and furniture, drugs for the treatment of his ailments, fruits and nuts for his food, paper for the advancement of his knowledge, rubber, cork and other materials for industry, ornaments for the decoration of the gardens and hundreds of other products for meeting his daily needs.
Beside all these things, its aesthetic value is also a prime thing. The beautiful green crown of the foliage is soothing to the eyes. The colorful flowers apply a healing touch to the disturbed and weary mind. The flower and the foliage of a plant beautify the surroundings and thus infuse health in our body and mind by their cheerful effect.
